Lorenzo's Mexican Restaurant & Catering in Loomis

Very cold inside just like the February weather outside. Needs updating badly. Food arrived in a timely fashion. Waitress was nice. The food was okay but they need to make their enchiladas with corn tortillas. I will not go back.

We've been to Lorenzo's several times and it has always been a pleasant and easy going time. Food is great, and the staff is very friendly and quick.

Place needs a good cleaning The table tops need to be replaced as the old tile grout is always dirty plus the menu needs to be reworked

Best carnitas I've ever hadDon't be surprised\taken aback by the tiny little old building AT ALL We were leaving Quarry Park and my brother suggested this place as he goes there quite often. I loved the building and the old-time charm. Clean restrooms (big for me) very clean in general Staff was really nice Fasy serviceIt's definitely old but I will tell you it is some of the best food I've had in a very long time!!Bean dip was greatMom had a tostada and ate almost all of it (rare) Dad ate his whole plate of cheese enchiladas and then set forth to conquer the rest of my bros carnita plate lolI had black beans Guacamole was excellentOverall I was very happily surprisedWill be back

The food here is absolutely amazing.I had the enchilada grande, and finished the WHOLE thing!I ordered it to go, and it was ready by the time I got there.HIGHLY recommend the enchiladas!

Like always real good food and service

Our first time here and I'd love to come back. The food was delicious! I had carnitas and it was cooked very well. It had a different flavor than I am used to, a bit sweeter which was a pleasant surprise. The portions were more than enough which is great for leftovers. Even my children were fans who had soft tacos, flautas, and a burrito. The service was great; everyone was very friendly and helpful.

We've only been there a couple times but its a definite must have. Food was awesome & so was the service!!

Passing thru on a road trip on Sinco De Mayo I decided to search for nearby Mexican restaurants and hit the jackpot with Lorenzo's. I ordered my usual test for a first visit to a Mexican Restaurant, a chili relleno and a shredded beef enchilada. To my delight each were served on the same plate with different sauces, the enchilada with a deep red rojo sauce with a bold flavor and the chili relleno with a milder chicken broth sauce. The combination was excellent. I have found my new favorite Guadalajaran style Mexican place, next time I'll try the seafood dishes

The waitress we had was so sweet and awesome. Everything else on the other hand was completely sub-par. The chips were old and stale the carnitas were dry. The pico de gallo was just tomatoes. Seems like the cook took the night off, and everything was just reheated.

Nice chips and salsa, really zesty sauce served over the tamales and the chicken flautas are really good.

The food was good. The salsa was fresh but not my style. The place looks shabby and a little iffy when no one else is in there eating but you. However, service was really good and food was good too. A little pricey for what it was, but overall not a bad experience at all.

Very good food top notch..would have like more ice tea. But no problem. Food made up for it..

best Mexican food in the greater Sacramento area that I've found and I've been looking hard. huge portions. amazing food. amazing service. can get very busy and parking lot is small but well worth it. have been there many times and will be there many more. I just wish it was closer to me in natomas.

What can I say, it feels like a family owned restaurant. Great service every time. Best Mexican in the area . Good place to take a girlfriend to meet your parents

Been coming here for years at least 2 twice a year. Lorenzo's chimichanga is the bee's knees. Probably needs a face lift eventually but it still holds it own on Taylor Rd. Love this place

Stopped in after being on the lake and place was steady but only had 1 server. Food was pretty good, not authentic but good server was ok but just keep rushing us and telling us how people were waiting, while we waited and it was our turn. If its empty Im sure it would be good but not with other people there

Cute local Mexican restaurant. Fair margaritas (made with wine), ice cold beer and HUGE burritos and chimichangas. I managed to finish it all but wasn't hungry again until the next night!

Great customer service, the waitress was very attentive and the price was great as well. The only one thing I wish they offered was a hotter salsa...

Great real mexican food. Our whole family has been going here since my grandmother found out about it and I'm 53 so that lets you know how long we have been coustomers.

I'm going Lorenzos a 5 star rating because of the wait staff. Always swift to greet you and get your order started. The restaurant is old and a little dark, but the food is delicious and the chips and salsa are great. Comfortable seating cold beverages. I really feel comfortable and welcome at Lorenzos Mexican Restaurant.

Very friendly service every visit. I'm hooked on the lunch steak fajitas! They always come out sizzling straight from the kitchen & are a perfect size for lunch! The price is right too!

My Daughter and I Love this Lorenzo's, our only complaint is in the Summer we can't eat their because the Air Conditioner doesn't work good. You can't enjoy your food eating in a sauna. They have Grants to help get Air Conditioning installed paid for by PROPERTY Taxes, they need to look into it there probably losing a lot of money, There prices are great compared to to the Douglas Blvd Lorenzo's!

Most disgusting tacos I've ever had. Place is dirty too. I felt sick all night after my visit there. I wish I took a picture of the food there... tortillas were covered in some cheesy looking lord knows what...The waitress didn't even know what tacos did they offer....🤢🤮🤢🤮

My family has visited this restaurant for years. My mom, my grandma and I love it here. It's a quiet restaurant with interesting decor and wonderful staff. The food is great.Beautiful cacti can be seen out front.
